I received a baby keepsake book from a friend at LDB's baby shower. I remember she said something like, "You think you will write about all of the wonderful moments and milestones and then you realize years have passed and you still have a blank book." Well my friend, you were right. The book is somewhere in our memory box and three and a half years later blank pages remain. (So I have decided to give blogging a chance!) Parenthood brings many surprises along the way. One never can truly prepare for every situation. As you know Linc began life with many challenges, several of which we were not aware of until time revealed them. Delays in mobility, silent aspiration when swallowing and breathing issues which require oxygen. With every piece of new news, Kyle and I rolled with the punches and scheduled each new referral suggested (to what seemed to be for every 'ologist imaginable).
